Senior Java Developer Job Posting (Surrey, Financial Services)Rate: 350-400 pounds per day (Inside IR35) Contract: 6+ months Location: Surrey (Hybrid working model) Client: Financial services About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our clients team in Surrey. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining high-quality Java applications for a leading financial services client. This is an excellent opportunity to work on challenging and impactful projects in a collaborative and supportive environment. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test high-quality, reusable Java code Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and microservices architecture Utilize Apache Kafka and Apache Spark for data streaming and processing Work with Cassandra and other No SQL databases Write clean, well-documented code and adhere to coding standards Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions Collaborate effectively with other developers, designers, and stakeholders Lead and mentor junior developers Stay up-to-date on the latest Java technologies and best practices Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Java developer Proven experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture Experience with Apache Kafka and Apache Spark Familiarity with Cassandra or other No SQL databases Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor others NOTE: This position is a contract role INSIDE IR35To Apply: Please send your CV and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and skills We look forward to hearing from you!
